The client for this project had a wonderful vision of opening up their garden to let in the light, creating a modern and low-maintenance space perfect for enjoying long summer days and evenings. Before we could build anything, we had to tackle a major hurdle: the incredibly narrow access to the property. Because machinery simply would not fit, we had to roll up our sleeves and do all the digging and garden clearance completely by hand! We worked hard to clear away overgrown trees and thick shrubbery to finally let the sunshine back in.

With the garden beautifully opened up, we laid down a stunning new sandstone patio finished with a sharp block paved border. We also made sure to fully seal the patio stone, keeping it highly durable and incredibly easy for the client to maintain. To finish the renovation off properly, we carefully levelled the ground and rolled out a vibrant, fresh new turf lawn. The space is now completely transformed from a dark, overgrown yard into a welcoming and open summer retreat!
