This project started with clearing a huge amount of green waste from a very overgrown and muddy driveway. The client was in the process of modernising their beautifully rendered house and wanted a fresh outdoor space to perfectly match. We completely transformed the approach to the property by laying a brilliant, low-maintenance gravel driveway featuring a smart block paved entrance. To complete the updated aesthetic, we installed a sleek porcelain pathway with a complementary block paved border that leads to a brand new, hard-wearing porcelain patio seating area.

The real surprise came during the groundworks phase. When digging out the old drive, we discovered that the rainwater downpipes were not actually connected to any underground drainage! To sort this out, we installed a fully SuDS compliant soakaway system alongside new Aco channel drains. This clever setup now easily manages the surface water from both the new seating area and the entire roof. The absolute best part is that the client recently let us know this hidden fix completely solved the rising damp issues they had been suffering from inside their home.
